Author Update June 2018 4

Torrential rain saturated the grounds and forced the previously scheduled outdoor activities indoors or under tents, ruined carefully coiffed hairdos and slinky stiletto sandals, but did not dampen the spirit of the glorious day.  Claire graduated from Fordham with highest honors on May 19th, received three gold medals and the Leadership Award.  I was privileged to have been there to see the culmination of her discipline and focus and to celebrate her success.   My “little red convertible” served me well in navigating the soggy terrain.  I also met Shubham, her special friend who flew in from France for the festivities.

Regarding my writing, there are some changes in the works.  My website/author page is being redesigned to bring the various projects into one cohesive package.  It will be titled LovEstelle, Lessons of Life and Love, and should be ready to launch in early July.

I will dispense with the Author Update each month and instead will post one of the love stories that I have been collecting in its place.   Beginning next month, the schedule will be Long and Lasting Love  on the second Wednesday and Lives Cut Short on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

The subject for the June post (June 27th) is someone I knew briefly, but who left an indelible impression with her exuberance and unique style.
